1. Who We Are

Stock Horoscope is a free mobile entertainment app available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. This Privacy Policy explains what information is stored on your device, what third-party services collect when you use the app, and your choices.

2. Data Stored On Your Device Only

Stock Horoscope does not operate any server, does not create user accounts, and does not transmit any personal information to us. All app data is stored exclusively on your device using standard local storage (Flutter shared_preferences) and never leaves it.

The following data may be saved locally on your device:

• Display name — the name or nickname you choose to enter
• Birth date (year, month, day) — used for Four Pillars (Saju) mode readings
• Portfolio tickers — the stock ticker symbols you add to your holdings list
• Investor style preference — the trading personality you select
• Reading history — past fortune results stored for your reference

This data is used solely to generate your on-device fortunes. It is never uploaded, synced, or shared with us or any third party (other than as described in Section 3 for ads). Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

3. Google AdMob (Third-Party Advertising)

The app is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising SDK. When ads are displayed, AdMob may collect the following information directly from your device:

• Advertising identifier — the IDFA (iOS) or AAID (Android) on your device, used to serve and measure ads
• IP address — used for general location inference and fraud prevention
• Device information — device model, OS version, screen size, language, and time zone
• Ad interaction data — whether you viewed or tapped an ad

AdMob uses this data to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.

Opt out / reset your advertising ID:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Personalized Ads (toggle off)

4. iOS App Tracking Transparency

On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple requires apps to request permission before accessing your device’s IDFA for cross-app tracking purposes. Stock Horoscope does not request tracking permission and serves only non-personalized ads. If a future version asks for tracking permission, denying it will simply continue to show non-personalized ads and will not affect any app functionality.

5. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data to third parties. The on-device data described in Section 2 never reaches us. The advertising data described in Section 3 is governed by Google’s own policies.

6. Children

Stock Horoscope is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is an entertainment product for general adult audiences and contains stock-market humor. 7. GDPR — EU / EEA / UK Users

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or erase personal data.

Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, the only data subject to GDPR that touches a third party is AdMob ad data. Google acts as an independent data controller for that data. You may manage your ad personalization consent through Google’s Ad Settings or by resetting/opting out of your advertising ID as described in Section 3.

8. CCPA — California Users

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you rights regarding personal information, including the right to know what information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.

We do not sell personal information. On-device data never reaches us. If you wish to opt out of personalized advertising served by AdMob, follow the steps in Section 3 to reset or limit your advertising ID.

9. Data Retention

On-device data is retained until you delete the app or clear its data in your device settings. We retain no data on our end because no data is transmitted to us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
